Intro to Underwater Photography and Videography Course

Learn the Basics

I offer private, guided underwater photography and videography sessions using my GoPro! This is the perfect way to get your feet wet (pun definitely intended) before investing thousands in underwater photography equipment and courses.

I rent the pool, provide my GoPro, and additional gear if needed (mask, snorkel, and weight belt). All you have to do is show up ready to learn and get wet! I am a certified Freediver with a current max depth of 31 meters, max static breath hold of 4 minutes, underwater rescue training, and current CPR certification. (Not that we’ll need that!) I will make sure we get some great content, and stay safe doing it!

I will teach you relaxation and breathing techniques, buoyancy control, and how to work with the light for those dreamy underwater images. Starting out with a small action camera instead a full DSLR and underwater housing will allow you to focus on these other fundamentals before worrying about camera settings and potential gear failure (ie. housing leaks!). You will receive all raw footage (4k video, and jpegs) and short video edits for mutual promotion via dropbox.

Investment: $300

90 minute session is broken into approximately 30 minutes of above water instruction and prep and a full hour in the water.

Includes: Pool and gear rental, modeling fees, and professional instruction

Also available to aspiring underwater models! Includes all of the above, plus some props and wardrobe. I will be your instructor as well as photographer/videographer.
